Recyclers and Resellers of ICT Equipment
We are an information and communication technology (ICT) equipment recycler and reseller. We get computers, servers, telecom, and other ICT equipment from businesses, schools etc., or from the public to ensure their secure, sustainable disposal.
We follow the Environment Agency’s Waste Hierarchy and the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) regulations when dealing with all the equipment, ensuring best practices for a greener solution.
What is the Waste Hierarchy?
The “waste hierarchy” ranks waste management options according to what is best for the environment. It gives top priority to preventing waste in the first place. When waste is created, it gives priority to preparing it for re-use, then recycling, then recovery, and last of all disposals (e.g. landfill). At Evergreen ICT however, we are fully committed to our promise for 0% landfill when it comes to ICT equipment!
We Follow WEEE Regulations
Electrical and electronic equipment (EEE) is regulated to reduce the amount of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) incinerated or sent to landfill sites. Reduction is achieved through various measures which encourage the recovery, reuse, and recycling of products and components.
When equipment arrives at our warehouse, we will dismantle the equipment to see if the components (i.e. power supplies, PCB’s etc.) have any resale or reuse value, if so then the equipment will be inventoried and resold.
